SB: How did “The Guzman Twins” start their modeling career?

GT: “My Space! It gave us instant access to network and get to interact with all kinds of people and media-truly amazing! We are the new-bees to this industry just starting out about 4 months ago.  Modeling was something we finally decided to really commit to and being our passion we want to take it to the next level.  We started in local fashion shows in Long Beach, CA.  We are honored to be selected by Pub District website as the first twin starlets.  Modeling is indeed a handful with quite a few challenges but with great support by our side and our passion for it we are each others greatest strength.”

SB: How do you keep your “super hot” bodies in top shape?

GT: “Working out is huge in our life!  We work out five times a week incorporating both cardio and resistance using light weights. We love “kickboxing” classes and love dance classes-Latin and hip hop. Fitness and nutrition have always been a part of our life and we incorporate in our daily lives.  Our body is our temple and to give it proper nourishment and take good care of it is our life that we incorporate in our daily life.  We love the challenge and how it makes us feel mentally and physically!  Our diet consists of egg whites, fish, tuna, salmon, sushi, chicken, turkey, berries and plenty of water.”

The Guzman Twins have always been involved in dance production.  Since the age of 6 they started dancing impersonating “Selena Quintanilla” and moved on to our high school dance team.  Now they “go go dance” at certain clubs in Hollywood once a week.  They give the audience at the clubs a great show and they “love it”.  They are looking forward to breaking into television and being involved in commercials, hosting events, and acting.  You can catch the Guzman Twins in Latin magazine this summer called Open Your Eyes magazine that embraces the beauty of women. They’re currently working on a promotional hosting event in Miami.  They love participating in walk-a-thons any chance given knowing they’re helping out their community.  Currently they’re attending Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa right after high school. Christina transferred out to Cal Poly Pomona as biology and Crystal transferred to Cal State Fullerton in hopes of becoming a teacher. Because of their workload with work, school, modeling and family they are only part time students.

SB: What advice would you give to a new model?

GT: “Take your passion and make it happen. Life doesn’t just happen, you make it happen! If modeling is your passion you need to focus and dedicate your mission. You are your biggest strength so invest properly and take success as it comes your way.  We will admit at times there are lows you will encounter but that comes with the process.  Being able to socializing and approachable are keys in this lifestyle.”

SB: What can you tell us about yourself that your fans don’t know?

GT: “One of our biggest fears is bees!  The smallest things but yes so terrified of them! So much that while driving out one time in broad daylight a bee flew inside our car. Crystal flashed her emergency lights and pulled over in the middle of traffic in “fear of getting stung.”
