Stunner Baby Magazine kicks it up another notch by basking in the glow of one of my favorite reality show series. Kim Kardashian first rose to fame in October 2007 when she along with her two sisters, mother, brother, half-sisters, and stepfather starred in the E! Television series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The series has aired five seasons to date, with three spin-off series.The Karadashian family empire launched Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, Kourtney and Kim Take New York, and Khloé & Lamar is an American reality-based television series that debut on E! on April 10, 2011 as a spin-off to Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The Kardashians branding machine has helped the family earn $65 million in revenue last year.  Khloé & Lamar follows Khloé Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom as newlyweds. In the opener, Khloè pushes Lamar to reconnect with his estranged father, and Lamar learns whether he made the NBA All-Star team. Khloé makes a shocking discovery.

“It’s an amazing group of people and this season is going to bring a lot of laughs, a lot of love, and of course, a lot of drama,” Khloe wrote on her personal blog right before the show kicked off.  Khloé Kardashian tried to warn her husband, Lamar Odom, that filming a reality show wouldn’t be easy.

“We literally film our shows seven days a week for 12 to 18 hours a day. They want you to be at your wit’s end and tired. I think he thought we could send the cameras away whenever you want, but you can’t. And I didn’t want to put him under that pressure. He has his first career,” she said, referring to Odom’s job as a professional basketball player for the Lakers.

Viewing the scheduling issues as merely a challenge, Odom agreed to be a part of “Khloé & Lamar,” an E! Docuseries centering on the famous couple who wed in 2009 only a month after they met. The show premiered in April, immediately attracting a strong 2.6 million viewers.  The two wed after just a month of courtship, which prompted lots of talk about how the marriage was just a PR sham meant to garner more media attention for the Kardashian clan. “Khloe & Lamar” details the couple’s struggle to conceive, while showing how the two have to adapt to married life by learning how to compromise and be more understanding. The first episode, though, was all about Lamar’s broken relationship with his addict father, and how Khloe tried to make the two come together again after many years, not knowing what exactly happened between them.

“My father’s a heroin addict,” Lamar admits to his new wife when she keeps pushing him to speak with his father. “I had my mother around until I was 12 years old when she passed away and after that my father wasn’t around,” he explains.

“I witnessed things that a 10-year-old definitely wasn’t supposed to see… It’s hard for me to speak up on it and get it through to Khloe because she grew up so different,” Lamar later says.

“Khloe & Lamar” doesn’t feature just the two lovebirds (who obviously can’t keep their hands off each other for longer periods of time), but also Khloe’s brother Rob, who lives in the same house as them, Khloe’s best friend Malika, and Lamar’s best friend Jamie. The couple, who recently launched their unisex fragrance, ‘Unbreakable,’ may have their trials and tribulations, but they’ll always have each other and their shared love for married life, celebrity, and fame.
