The iTunes Festival is an annual music festival and concert series which is held in London at The Roundhouse art centre and sponsored by Apple Inc. It was first held in 2007. The tickets are given away free to iTunes customers and fans through competitions. Now in its fifth year, the iTunes Festival is a month-long series of concerts sponsored by Apple at held at the Roundhouse, in north London.
The intimate venue hosts a mixture of new artists and big names and tickets are given away to competition-winners and iTunes customers. I have witnessed many of the 60 artists to perform 31 consecutive nights of brilliant live music in the UK’s best venue, the Roundhouse in London. The lineup includes Coldplay, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Paul Simon, Bruno Mars, Adele, My Chemical Romance, Duran Duran, Lang Lang and Moby — to name just a few of the great shows you can watch live on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Music fans around the world will be able to watch performances from the iTunes Festival London 2011 this July with Live HD video streams from Live Nation Studios on their iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch via the free iTunes Festival London 2011 application and directly on the iTunes store.
