SOMETHING ABOUT BARBARA ZATLER

Stunner Baby Magazine is proud to have the opportunity to have Danish celebrity model Barbara Zatler gracing the cover of the (May/June) 2014 issue. Barbara started her career as a model in 2002! She has now built up an international career and has appeared in numerous magazines worldwide but mostly in USA. She has been on the cover of Playboy magazine with the title as “Playmate of the Month” in Slovenia and she is now five times international playmate in the countries Netherlands, Romania, Poland and USA. She has been featured in more than 100 magazines like GQ, Maxim, Zoo, MensXP Playboy, Euroman and FHM. Barbara was voted as one of the “Ten Remarkable People 2010″ by Denmark’s biggest lifestyle magazine Euroman. She was voted as one of the “Sexiest Women in the World” according to FHM magazine in 2012.

Barbara has appeared as guest star on several radio shows such as Radio 100, P3 Morgen, The Voice, SLR radio, GO fm Aarhus, Twin Towers radio USA and Playboy Radio USA, where she also performed with stand-up and won the prize as funniest bunny of the year 2010. Let’s take a closer look into the trailblazing world of a internationally successful celebrity model.

CJ: How did you start your modeling career? How would you describe your sexy appeal and beauty? 
BZ: “I started modeling when I was about 22 years old. I got discovered by a photographer who wanted to take my picture. At first I didn’t want to because I was unsure about if I had what it takes to become a model but he convinced me otherwise so I agreed to try it out. The images came out great and I got a lot of positive feedback on them. That inspired me to pursue a career as a model and I got into an agency but after some time I decided to go solo and be my own agent! I think it is hard to describe my own beauty as I see myself as pretty average in the way I look, but all women has their own unique look and I guess that’s my sexy appeal and beauty to some men.”

CJ: What would you consider your sexy attributes that drive your fans crazy? What was your sexiest activity that you’ve participated?
BZ: “I think most fans fancy the whole female body and not just one part of it. But perhaps most men prefer a nice bum or breasts. But I am not to be the judge of that. Most of my fans are being gentlemen and does not write what they may be thinking for real. I would say Playboy Magazines Slovenia when I was the playmate and centerfold in 2009, I am five times international Playmate in countries USA, Poland, Romania and Netherlands.”

CJ: What modeling accomplishments have you completed in 2013-14?
BZ: “In 2013 I was published in numerous magazines worldwide, some of them I can mention are GQ, Esquire, FHM, Maxim, Mandatory, MensXP, MOLL, Playboy.”

CJ: What music video, television, film projects have you’ve participated?
BZ: “It has been some years now since I participated in any music videos. I was in some for Danish artists like L.O.C., UFO Yepha, I can’t seem to remember the rest anymore. Of movies I have been on the silver screen with movies as Teddy Bear by Mads Matthiesen and Clown (Klovn The Movie) by Mikkel Soendergaard. Of TV shows I was guest in Celebrity Masterchef Denmark, Go’ Morgen Danmark (English Title- Good Morning Denmark) and Verden Ifoelge Snake(English Title- The World According To Snake)  Radio shows Koer Hjem Med Veltz (English Title- Driving Home With Veltz) TV series Borgen, 2900 Happiness and Kristian.”

CJ: How does it feel to appear in Stunner Baby Magazine as a cover model? How did your hear about us?
BZ: “It is always an honor when a magazine wishes to publish my work! It feels really great to know that I am doing something right and my hard efforts pays of. It is very exciting to grace the cover of Stunner Baby Magazine which showcases some of the most stunning beauties from around the world. I am very delighted and thankful for this! I actually came across you on Facebook and thought I would send you an email. That I don’t regret! :)”

CJ: What do you do professionally when not modeling?  
BZ: “Modeling is my profession but when I am not modeling I work with TV and Film. But that’s more of a hobby thing. Modeling is my passion and my full time job.”

CJ: What advice would you provide to a new model to the modeling game? 
BZ: “The advice I can give to girls who want to try out as a model, start with contacting an agency who can help you get started and get you in touch with some photographers to make a portfolio for you. If you want to make it on your own then make sure to check up on the photographer before you meet up with him, you never know if he is for real or a person who pretends to be something he is not. It can be a dangerous place to be if you don’t know how to take care of yourself in the business. It is hard work and you must take care of yourself because nobody else does! I’m not trying to scare the girls but you must keep that in mind! And you must get in contact with the editors of some good magazines to get much and good exposure, then you will open many doors for new adventures that are just waiting for you! And always remember to be humble and nice because no one wants to work with a stuck up diva who thinks she is already a star. Also be persistent and determined because it is a tough industry!”

CJ: What does it mean to grace the pages of Stunner Baby Magazine?  Do you see your modeling career opening up opportunities in radio, television, and reality shows?  
BZ: “It makes me happy to grace the pages of Stunner Baby Magazine, as it is always a great feeling to get some recognition on the work you are doing. So I am very pleased! I think that ship has already sailed as I have been blessed with many experiences on these areas of the showbiz industry.”

CJ: Who are some of your favorite photographers that you’ve worked?
BZ: “Carsten Brechel is one of my top favorites as we have a great team work and he is also a good friend of mine. We have made pictures for many magazines and I like working with him because I feel relaxed and we always work hard on getting the right images. The same I can say for my second favorite photographer Mikkel Marquart.”

CJ: How would you use social media to drive traffic to your interview and notify your fans that follow your career?
BZ: “I always use my facebook account and my website to notify my fans on what’s going on and what to look out for of upcoming interviews and stuff. I have also just started to use Google+ and I have a megahoot account. All named Barbara Zatler.”
